a 2 yr old, a lot of barking, and yeast?

Today has been interesting. Emily has been testing me left and right, but was not altogether bad. She had her moments when she was good, but others when she was a monster!!

The dogs have been barking all day, driving me insane, no idea what they are barking at though!! bark bark bark bark bark bark barkkkkk!!!!

And on top of it all, I've been on the phone most of the day (or online looking info up) on what the hell this damned rash on my areola is!! It's lacy looking, and very painful. And when I nurse it hurts sooooo bad I have tears running down my face!! I finally got an answer earlier this evening. Thrush. Or to be more specific, a yeast infection on my breasts. It's also IN my breasts which is why it hurts so bad when my milk lets down :( SUCKS!! The dr called and prescribed Diflucan. As soon as I'm done eating, I'll take my first dose. You start with 2 pills tonight, and then 1 pill each night/day after that. I also called my pediatrician to let her know whats going on, and to see if they wanted to prescribe anything for Clayton, and they dont. Which is odd, because everything I've read says to treat both mother and baby...then again I'm not sure what I think of our drs office anymore..not much, thats for sure. :| My sister found this site and linked me to it: http://www.breastfeeding-basics.com/html/candida.shtml It has lots of great information! I think my sister will make a great lactation consultant, she has a great memory for things like this! :)

Anywho, off to watch Underworld, love this movie!! We have orders to have a date night soon, and I'm hoping to go see the new Underworld movie ;) I love Underworld and Underworld Evolutions! Oh, and I think I want another taco! :P

I HAD TO!!! lol

Just want to thank all of you for your educational e-mails over the past year. I am totally screwed up now and have little chance of recovery.

I no longer open a public bathroom door without using a paper towel.

Or have them put lemon slices in my ice water without worrying about the bacteria on the lemon peel.

I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pastime while driving alone is picking one's nose.

Eating a little snack sends me on a guilt trip because I can only
imagine how many gallons of trans fats I have consumed over the years.

I can't touch any woman's purse for fea r she has placed it on the
floor of a public bathroom.

I must send my special thanks to whoever sent me the one about poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope that needs sealing.

Also, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny Brown) who is about to die in the hospital for the 1,387,258 the time.

I no longer have any money at all, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me, and St. Theresa's novena has granted my every wish.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible
mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.

I won't touch margarine, as it is just one molecule away from being plastic.

I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.

Thanks to you, I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an e-mail to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.

Because of your concern I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains, nor do I drink Pepsi or Dr. Pepper since the people who make these products are atheists who refuse to put 'Under God' on their cans.

I can no longer buy gasoline without taking someone along to watch the car so a serial killer won't crawl in my back seat when I'm pumping gas.

I no longer use Saran wrap in the microwave because it causes cancer.

And thanks for letting me know I can't boil a cup of water in the
microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face, disfiguring me for life.

I no longer check the coin return on pay phones because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS.

Neither will I go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.

I no longer receive packages from UPS or Fed Ex since they are
actually Al Qaeda in disguise..

I won't shop at Target since they are French and don't support our American troops or the Salvation Army.

I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica , Uganda , Singapore , and Uzbekistan .

I no longer buy expensive cookies from Neiman Marcus since I now have their recipe.

Thanks to you, I can't use anyone's toilet but my own because a big brown African spider is lurking under the seat to cause me instant death when it bites my butt.

And thanks to your great advice, I can't ever pick up $5.00 dropped in the parking lot because it probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting underneath my car to grab my leg.

I can't do any gardening because I'm afraid I'll get bitten by the
brown recluse and my hand will fall off.

If you don't send this e-mail to at least 14,000 people in the next 14 minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head at 5:00 PM tomorrow afternoon and the fleas from 1,000 camels will infest your back, causing you to grow a hairy hump. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbor's ex-mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's beautician...
Have a wonderful day....
Oh, by the way.....A German scientist from Argentina , after a lengthy study, has discovered that people with insufficient brain activity read their e-mail with their hand on the mouse.
Don't bother taking it off now, it's too late.

totally random..

just some thoughts and a survey..

*I love to cook..but hate taking the time to do it lately..and I've run out of ideas, and we're bored with all the old fall backs!

*Clay hasnt slept more than an hour at a time at night in days....my mother needs to come keep him awake for me again.

picture time!

another day , another dollar...make me scream, make me hollar!

Ok I am in an odd mood today...Im in pain and not on meds..so that doesnt help my mood. Almost out of meds, gotta save them for bedtime so I can sleep. My mother in law came out to help today, and even brought lunch..that was nice :) My mother has been coming out a lot to help too, it rocks to have family that is willing to help. I think I may have dislodged the blood patch though. We went to our WIC appt yesterday, and then to the grocery store for a few things (which turned into $85 worth of stuff...and we forgot coffee again!!! UGH!) As we were checking out, Mike went to grab something else and left Emily with me at the register, which was fine..until she threw a fit coz I wouldnt let her have candy and threw herself on the ground and started kicking the woman in line in front of us!!!!!! :-O I was so embarassed!! I grabbed her up and smacked her once on the tush and set her next to the shopping cart and told her to hold on till Daddy gets back, then she saw Daddy and I sent her to him. Well I am not supposed to lift anything other than baby Clay (no more than 15lbs) because it can cause the patch to dislodge..well I woke up this morning with a horrible headache again and my backache is worse too :( The headache hasnt gone away at all, nothing even takes the edge off. I'm going to wait it out this time I think, I'm not all together sure that the pain from the blood patch was worth it to get rid of the headache.

I feel bad, I havent been posting on my mom's board (so if y'all are reading this, know I miss y'all!!) I just dont have the mental capacity to concentrate for that long to read! :( I also cant do anything on my siggy board because Emily knocked my external harddrive (where I keep all my kits and pictures) off the table and now it wont work at all. *cries* I'm so upset!!

Hmm..I think Emily is about to have another growth spurt..her cheeks are so chunky and her belly is nice and round..she's gotten so heavy lately too!! Yesterday she weighed in at almost 38lbs!! :-O What a chunk! :D I, on the otherhand, am losing weight (as I should be! lol) I am down 6lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. Only another 81 to go!!! lol Hmm, I should change my goal to 25lbs, a nd then when I've lost that, go for another 25 and just keep it simple...nah I like to fail big..might as well aim for the big # and be happy with any loss at all.

I took a quiz...and I am......................

Which Grey's Anatomy Character Are You? (pics)
Isobel
Isobel
You've got everything - work ethic, detirmination, skill and looks. But you'll never admit it! You have alot going for you, and it's all the talent you have that makes you capable of being so good. But in light of all your ability you still lack self confidence. Don't worry so much about proving yourself, you have everything it takes and all you need to do is believe in yourself to accomplish your dreams.

Sorry for the bad quality, it is from my phone, I forgot to bring the cord to upload pictures from my camera! DOH!! I'll make sure Mike brings it tomorrow :)

Love to all..and thanks for all the good wishes at the end of and all throughout my pregnancy :)
